Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily coordination of recruitment efforts, including posting open positions in compliance with company and legal guidelines, sourcing candidates, and facilitating meetings with hiring managers.
  • Support tasks in Excel and HRIS systems, including reporting, auditing, and data input.
  • Conduct background and reference checks for new hires and collaborate with HR Coordinator and HR Managers for hiring decisions.
  • Collaborate with VP HR and HR Coordinator on special projects as needed.
  • Perform general administrative duties, such as filing and maintaining the resume database.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to receive academic credit for this internship.

Skills

Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Initiative and ability to perform tasks independently. Excellent communication and writing skills. Familiarity with Workday is preferred.

Experience

No prior experience required, but familiarity with HR processes and systems is advantageous.

Education

Must be a current student eligible to receive academic credit.

Compensation

Salary of $16.50 per hour.
