Role & Responsibilities
- Assemble and oversee the stitching phases of individual cut components, ensuring quality in accordance with technical documentation and Bottega Veneta's quality standards.
- Perform leather skiving activities both manually and with machinery, tailored to specific model requirements.
- Execute all techniques in the stitching process for the creation of uppers, including tape application, pulling, folding, reversing, lining, preparing bag linings, applying edges, and inserting reinforcements.
- Operate column and zigzag sewing machines efficiently.
- Manage the creation of prototypes, samples, press pairs, and production pairs internally within the Atelier, liaising with the internal modeling team.
- Conduct repair activities as needed.
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in the footwear industry, preferably with expertise in elegant women's footwear.
