Bottega Veneta is hiring a Finance and Business Controlling Manager in Paris, France. Join a prestigious luxury brand to manage financial operations for France and Monaco.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in monitoring retail performance in terms of sales and profitability, including actual and planning processes.
- Prepare periodic management reports and provide financial analysis, particularly for capital investments and contract negotiations.
- Coordinate with the regional Finance Controller to ensure timely and accurate financial closure processes.
- Drive the annual budget process for France and Monaco, including periodic budget revisions, in collaboration with the General Manager, Retail Managers, and the central Finance team.
- Serve as the main point of reference for Finance matters within the area and oversee the production of periodic monthly closures to ensure compliance with accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
- Manage the P&L for the area on behalf of the General Manager and act as the main financial contact for Retail and Store Managers.
- Support the General Manager for Southern Europe and the Legal department in lease management and oversight of the real estate portfolio in France and Monaco.
- Prepare feasibility studies for new projects, present business plans to the Regional Management Team, and support negotiations.
- Collaborate with the Regional Finance team and other corporate offices to collect commentaries and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with local Finance teams to ensure appropriate reporting, accounting systems, and internal control procedures are in place.
- Assist the General Manager and HR team in preparing cost scenario simulations for negotiations with the employee representative body (CSE).
- Contribute to the creation of business and financial presentations for sharing company performance and strategic updates with the CSE, and present data during scheduled meetings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in financial management and business controlling.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and accounting principles.
- Experience in budget management and financial analysis.
Skills
Experience
Significant experience in financial management and business controlling within the luxury retail sector.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
