Role & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the artistic department and technical services during product development phases.
  • Participate in creative research by crafting prototypes and trial pieces.
  • Represent the craft and brand during promotional events and atelier visits.
  • Create guilloché and tapestry patterns on pieces using traditional machines and specific tools.
  • Utilize technical documents and prescribed setups for production.
  • Prepare and sharpen tools as necessary.
  • Monitor the quality and quantity of produced pieces.
  • Adhere to production timelines.
  • Conduct self-inspections to ensure products meet aesthetic and dimensional standards.
  • Identify, resolve, and report quality or technical issues to relevant departments.
  • Perform maintenance on atelier equipment.

Qualifications

  • Passion for horology and artistic craftsmanship.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with artistic and technical teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Skills

Proficiency in operating traditional guilloché and tapestry machines. Technical understanding of production documents and setups. Problem-solving skills for quality and technical issues. Ability to perform equipment maintenance.

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role within the luxury watchmaking or artistic crafts industry is preferred.

The successful candidate will be located in Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva, Switzerland, with easy access to Geneva.
