Join Tiffany & Co. in New York as a Facilities Operating Engineer. This role involves maintaining building equipment and supporting the Preventative Maintenance Program. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits offered.
Role & Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain all process and building equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, process piping, wastewater treatment, electrical, and lighting systems.
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks on all equipment as part of the Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Test and inspect all emergency and life safety systems to comply with FM, NFPA, OSHA, and other agency standards.
- Complete project and fabrication work, procure necessary parts and supplies, and ensure timely follow-up with requestors.
- Communicate with outside vendors for service support and parts supplies.
- Support outside contractors completing projects within the facility.
- Maintain adequate inventory to support facility operations.
- Consistently follow safety procedures and make suggestions for improvements.
- Report all incidents and safety issues promptly to the direct manager.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in a related field
- Certificates of fitness: Q01/S13/S12/A35/S95/F01
- Ability to use power tools and craft equipment
- Ability to read blueprints
- Basic plumbing and pipefitting experience
- Basic carpentry and fabrication skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Availability to respond to building-related emergency calls after hours
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime
Skills
Experience
Minimum of 3 years in a related field, with certificates of fitness and proficiency in technical skills.
Education
Technical degree preferred, but not required.

This position is based in New York, New York, USA.
Compensation
The hiring range for this position is $30.43 - $41.17 per hour, dependent on candidates' relevant skills and experience.
