Join Sephora in San Francisco as an Assistant Merchant, Skincare. This full-time position offers a dynamic role in merchandising within a leading beauty retailer.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage brand assortments for up to 400 stores, including visual merchandising and timelines.
  • Consistently communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Assist in the creation and execution of brand/product strategies and product pipelines.
  • Prepare reports and assist in analyzing business performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to execute robust 360-degree launch strategies.
  • Stay informed on trends, new products, and brands.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of retail buying experience at a major retailer.

Skills

Impeccable verbal and written communication skills with comfort presenting to large groups. Excellent technical skills, including advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and merchant systems. Strong numerical aptitude and analytical skills with a drive for results. Demonstrated ability to negotiate and exert influence. Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, complex environment. Positive and collaborative attitude.

Experience

2-3 years of retail buying experience at a major retailer is required.

Compensation

The annual base salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $90,000.00. Individuals in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
