Rolex in Geneva seeks an Apprentice Polymechanic (EFZ) — apprenticeship in precision machining, CNC programming and technical drawing. French required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Learn to manufacture mechanical parts, tools and assemblies using conventional machine tools and CNC-controlled equipment.
  • Interpret technical drawings and define machining sequences for complex components.
  • Program and operate machine tools with the support of industrial design/CAD-CAM software.
  • Collaborate with technicians and engineers to execute orders, track project progress and develop constructive solutions.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation and measurement records to company quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Completed compulsory schooling or equivalent; motivated to pursue a technical apprenticeship.
  • Strong results in mathematics, physics and technical drawing.
  • Excellent spatial imagination and manual dexterity.
  • Logical, methodical approach to problem solving.
  • Very good spoken French.

Experience

No prior professional experience required; school workshop projects, internships or personal practice with metalworking or mechanical tasks are advantageous. The apprenticeship is intended for candidates beginning their vocational career.

Education

Compulsory schooling completed; strong academic performance in mathematics, physics and technical drawing is preferred.
