Join Richemont in New York City as Director of Distribution and Logistics. Lead strategic logistics operations in a dynamic luxury goods environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Influence, lead, and implement strategies to drive competitive distribution, logistics, and supply chain functions.
  • Oversee forward and reverse logistics operations and partnerships.
  • Enforce and maintain service commercial policies while driving continuous improvement projects.
  • Manage internal and 3PL logistics operations to meet objectives related to productivity, lead time, quality, budget, and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement a continuous improvement culture based on lean and six sigma methodologies.
  • Collaborate with key brand and partner members to enhance planning and efficiency in B2B and B2C initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of open dialogue, trust, and empowerment within the organization.
  • Develop succession and retention plans for managerial positions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, logistics, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in operations with supervision of direct reports.
  • Experience in financial planning and management for OPEX and CAPEX.
  • Working knowledge of TQM, Lean, and Six Sigma concepts.
  • Experience in luxury goods environment is advantageous.

Skills

Exceptional skills in Microsoft Office applications. Proficiency in SAP ERP and SAP Business Warehouse is a plus. Strong project management skills. Executive presence with strong managerial and leadership skills. Detail-oriented with a conceptual and analytical approach to problem-solving. Outstanding organizational and communication skills.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of management experience in operations with supervision of direct reports and diverse teams.

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering, logistics, or business-related field preferred. Master's degree is a plus.
