Join Moët Hennessy in Chiyoda-Ku, Japan, as a Business Planning and Control Manager. Lead financial planning and reporting in a dynamic luxury industry environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the actual reporting and financial planning for the company and relevant business segments.
- Monitor performance versus plans and report to management and shareholders for timely decision-making.
- Control monthly volume based on communication with counterparts and provide timely analysis and comments to stakeholders.
- Oversee the LE/BUD process on volume, including Topaz upload, in collaboration with the Demand Planning team on SKU level review.
- Ensure a reasonable fiscal year-end closing process on volume.
- Lead monthly reporting and communication with counterparts to meet reporting deadlines and expectations.
- Consolidate financial forecasts from business segments and ensure sales and financial targets are achieved.
- Communicate closely with the MHAP finance team and Diageo team for timely and complete reporting submissions.
- Lead monthly A&P reporting by communicating with the marketing and commercial team.
- Build A&P forecasts and monitor actual versus forecast to identify risks and opportunities.
- Ensure all A&P processes align with internal control and compliance.
- Continuously improve ways of working for effectiveness and efficiency.
- Develop, coach, and train two team members.
Qualifications
- University graduate with a degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Fluency in both Japanese and English.
Skills
Experience
More than 7-10 years of experience, with at least 2+ years in a similar finance role in a large US or European multinational company. Experience in one of the Big 4 audit firms is a plus. Knowledge of IFRS is required, CPA is a plus. Experience in implementing integrated business systems and SAP knowledge is advantageous.
Education
University graduate with a degree in Finance or Accounting.
