Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee the development of new products during the industrialization phase, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality and design expectations.
- Define and optimize the manufacturing process, ensuring adherence to aesthetic, quality, and cost standards.
- Ensure compliance with the company's product design guidelines and support the development process through pre-series pilot management.
- Design plans, create tool dossiers, manage quotations and orders, and challenge costs, timelines, and technologies to deliver compliant tools and digital cutting plans.
- Initiate laboratory tests for design validation and prepare technical documentation including stitching standards and checklists.
- Provide technical assistance to the manufacturing department during production startup and support the training of leather craftsmen on the production line.
- Manage product diversification, implement internal and external modification requests, and update product definitions and operational methods.
- Participate in the development of qualification plans and integrate health, safety, and environmental considerations into new product development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (Bac +2 to Bac +5)
