Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the production processes of stitching and cutting in the footwear department.
  • Manage resources across the preparation and stitching lines as well as the cutting department.
  • Ensure efficient operation of machinery and equipment in the footwear manufacturing process.
  • Analyze production times and methods to optimize efficiency.
  • Balance production lines to meet output targets.
  • Manage changes in product mix and article variations.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and resolve production-related issues.

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of preparation and stitching processes in footwear manufacturing.
  • Technical expertise in all shoemaking machinery.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within structured environments.

Skills

Strong analytical skills for time and method analysis. Proficiency in line balancing and machine management. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and solve problems effectively. Adaptability to change and continuous improvement mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. English language proficiency preferred.

Experience

A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar managerial role within the footwear industry, ideally in a structured setting.
