Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service by creating a friendly and welcoming environment.
  • Accurately process transactions and maintain cash integrity at registers.
  • Utilize proper telephone etiquette for customer inquiries and communication.
  • Assist in packing or wrapping customer purchases.
  • Facilitate customer exchanges or returns in collaboration with the Boutique Leadership Team.
  • Complete opening and closing procedures, ensuring security of cash and receipts.
  • Maintain an orderly register area and ensure supplies are stocked.
  • Support floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping.
  • Provide assistance on the selling floor as needed.
  • Participate in inventory processes.
  • Support general boutique operations, including safety and security protocols.

Qualifications

  • Retail cashiering and operations experience, preferably in a luxury setting.
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule, including varied hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle merchandise and fixtures.
  • Adherence to company policies, procedures, regulations, and standards.

Experience

Prior experience in retail cashiering and operations, with a preference for luxury background.

The successful candidate will be located in Short Hills, New Jersey, USA, with easy access to New York City.

Compensation

Salary range of $19-$22 per hour, with potential eligibility for medical benefits, commuter benefits, and 401k plans with employer contributions.
