Christian Dior Couture in Paris seeks a Senior Editorial Copywriter to craft press releases, long-form features and digital copy in English (Fluent French required).
Role & Responsibilities
- Compose and edit press releases across Womenswear, Menswear, Couture and Dior’s maison universes (Haute Jewellery, Baby Dior, Dior Home) with precise adherence to Dior’s editorial tone.
- Develop and oversee editorial copy for digital channels—newsletters, dior.com and social media (organic and paid)—ensuring consistency and creative excellence across formats.
- Edit and adapt French-origin texts into English, preserving nuance, technical accuracy and stylistic sophistication.
- Produce long-form features, interviews and articles for Dior Magazine and other editorial platforms, demonstrating cultural insight and narrative rigour.
- Conduct and shape high-level interviews with VIPs, craftspeople, artists and Creative Directors, translating dialogue into compelling editorial content.
- Coordinate internal approval workflows, translations and proofreading in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Liaise with the French copywriting team to align tone of voice, terminology and editorial approach across both languages.
- Lead and mentor a small team of writers, ensuring consistency of language, terminology and editorial standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum six years’ experience in editorial writing, press, publishing or communications within a major luxury fashion or lifestyle brand.
- University degree in literature, communications, journalism or a related field.
- Native-level English and fluent/proficient French.
- Outstanding writing, editing and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to nuance and detail.
- Deep knowledge of fashion history, garment construction, materials and technical fashion vocabulary.
- Proven experience conducting high-profile interviews and shaping narrative features.
- Strong organisational skills, autonomy and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and approval processes.

Experience
At least six years of professional experience in editorial or communications roles within a leading luxury fashion or lifestyle brand, with demonstrable work producing press releases, long‑form features and digital content.
Education
University degree in literature, communications, journalism or a related discipline.

The successful candidate will be located in Paris, Île-de-France, France.
