Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct weekly, monthly, and yearly reports and ad-hoc analyses to monitor key performance indicators and implement business-supporting actions.
  • Present performance metrics and future objectives to key stakeholders during executive and weekly meetings.
  • Analyze permanent and seasonal stock levels to proactively identify opportunities and resolve issues in collaboration with various departments such as Supply Chain and Merchandising.
  • Manage product assortment, client requests, and delivery tracking for special orders, events, and trunk shows.
  • Define sales, sell-through, and launch objectives and ensure their follow-up.
  • Engage with the retail community to share business focuses and priorities, gather field feedback, and support category development.
  • Provide tailored tools to support retail teams, including catalogs, billing tracking, and sales dashboards.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects with European and French merchandising teams and business units.
  • Define and present the 30 Montaigne merchandising strategy to top management during the annual budget meeting.
  • Ensure specific needs of 30 Montaigne are met during buying sessions, including reviewing open-to-buy, pre-analysis, assortment strategy, and collection implementation.
  • Request and monitor the development of products specific to 30 Montaigne's needs.
  • Define monthly and category-specific financial objectives in collaboration with the Finance department.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and feedback collection to continuously improve the product offering.
  • Maintain close communication with internal and external stakeholders at 30 Montaigne, including Retail, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and Supply Chain.
  • Develop a product and client-oriented strategy in collaboration with the Marketing department for launches, events, and client campaigns.
  • Support the boutique's image needs and business challenges with Visual Merchandising teams, focusing on product highlights and specific needs for window displays and events.
  • Share key merchandising focuses with the Training team to ensure accurate message transmission to retail teams.
  • Manage stock levels in collaboration with Operations teams, overseeing deliveries, destocking, sales, and product lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree +5 (Business School, IEP, University, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in similar merchandising and/or business analysis roles

Skills

Advanced analytical skills with strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite Aptitude for numbers and results-oriented High degree of autonomy and organizational skills, with attention to detail and swift execution Proactive and agile with an entrepreneurial mindset and project management skills Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities, capable of managing communication with diverse stakeholders Strong interest in the luxury and fashion sectors Fluent in English

Experience

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in merchandising or business analysis within the luxury fashion industry.

Education

Bachelor's degree +5 (Business School, IEP, University, or equivalent)
