CELINE seeks a Human Resources Director in New York, USA, to lead retail HR activities across North America, focusing on development, retention, and employee relations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead retail HR activities across North America, focusing on development, retention, employee relations, reporting, and analysis.
  • Support, mentor, and counsel managers across the retail network and headquarters.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans in collaboration with finance and operations teams.
  • Ensure employee compensation aligns with budget and market benchmarks through strategic guidance.
  • Oversee employee relations, including harassment claims, investigations, and compliance with employment laws.
  • Drive people development initiatives, including onboarding, workforce planning, and high-potential employee programs.
  • Implement learning and development activities to enhance skills and performance management.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to support effective sourcing and assessment of talent.
  • Liaise with European HR teams and LVMH Inc. to align HR strategies.
  • Design and implement employee retention strategies.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with significant leadership roles.
  • Proven experience in managing and developing HR teams.
  • Expert knowledge of US and Canadian labor laws.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Skills

Superior organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented and highly organized. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact with all organizational levels, including senior leadership and retail associates. Ability to travel as needed.

Experience

Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Workplace

The successful candidate will be located in New York, New York, USA, with easy access to New York City.

Compensation

$170,000 - $200,000 annually, dependent on skills and experience.
