1. Define, lead, and manage the implementation of major tools, processes, and projects to optimize commercial performance and compliance within retail, wholesale, and travel retail networks.
2. Ensure logistics operations align with agreed KPIs and SLAs, maintaining legal and group compliance during transportation and clearance of goods.
3. Oversee planning and project execution to ensure effective departmental functioning.
4. Monitor and evaluate the performance of third-party logistics providers, identifying key improvement areas and developing execution plans.
5. Ensure compliance with import, re-export, and legal metrology regulations in India.
6. Manage outsourced warehouse operations, ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs, and maintain relationships with logistics partners and statutory organizations.
7. Ensure accurate inventory management and compliance with group procedures regarding customs, security, quality, and legal standards.
8. Manage import and export operations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and brand policies.
9. Evaluate, negotiate, and appoint key transport suppliers while monitoring changes in customs laws.
10. Ensure timely and accurate movement of goods and maintain current licenses.
11. Facilitate customs relationships and resolve issues, ensuring validity of operational licenses.
12. Coordinate cost control, budgeting, audit, and internal control system implementation.
13. Handle duty drawback filings, BIS registrations, WPC approvals, and hallmarking compliance.
