Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Maison’s strategy in the Indian subcontinent to achieve business and financial objectives.
- Manage sales and operations, marketing communication, client acquisition, and development.
- Oversee people and partner management, real estate development, and team development.
- Propose annual budget and set sales targets.
- Define network strategy and recommend marketing action plans in collaboration with the Dubai Regional team.
- Develop and expand corporate and B2B partnerships, focusing on the wedding market.
- Conduct real estate market research and gather competitive intelligence.
- Identify strategic opportunities for new boutiques and POS and build related business cases.
- Monitor POS performance and propose action plans to achieve objectives and KPIs.
- Implement a sell-out strategy and activation plan per account.
- Manage financial aspects of budgeting, P&L, and ensure financial KPIs are met.
- Ensure client service excellence and efficiency of after-sales service.
- Develop network through all channels (Wholesale, TimeVallee, Boutique, Ecom) in the country.
- Establish strong relationships with partners in an omnichannel approach.
- Propose, implement, and manage a multi-brand strategy for the country.
- Lead and motivate local retail, sales, and partner teams.
- Initiate action plans to identify, develop, and upgrade local clientele.
- Develop a local communication strategy with local and regional teams.
- Monitor effectiveness of communication activities and maximize ROI.
- Oversee implementation of local events plan.
- Evaluate operations and monitor compliance with brand guidelines.
- Lead, train, and guide point of sales/boutique managers and staff.
- Manage the Baume & Mercier team in India, defining mission and objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong background in brand management and commercial planning in the luxury retail industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial position.
- Previous experience in account management is a plus.
- Exposure to development of marketing plans and retail operations.
- Experience working on complex cross-functional projects with defined timelines.
Skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive, and resourceful.
- Computer literate with experience in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good knowledge of Indian business and culture.
- Fluent in Hindi and English.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial position in the luxury retail industry.
Education Requirements
Minimum Bachelor's degree from a reputable university.
