- Lead the Methods and Industrialization department to implement the industrial strategy.
- Oversee the introduction of new products, ensuring compliance with technical documentation and established standards, while maintaining quality, cost, and timeline objectives.
- Govern product and industrial data to align standards and best practices with organizational needs.
- Drive change and actively participate in continuous improvement processes.
- Define efficient manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Ensure the delivery of M&I outputs such as nomenclatures, ranges, and industrialization files.
- Capitalize on best practices within the M&I department by establishing standards.
- Facilitate effective communication with ancillary services, including industrialization reviews and updates on new developments.
- Ensure consistency of industrialization files with established standards and their transfer to production.
- Monitor and validate new product developments on-site.
- Validate new product range data.
- Maintain a close presence in production, participating in morning routines and problem-solving sessions.
- Ensure the definition, continuous improvement, and maintenance of processes and ranges.
- Maintain strong ties with the Technical Office, influencing technical choices to ensure optimal industrial feasibility through risk analyses and construction reviews.
- Anticipate and analyze the impacts of product modifications and manage changes in tooling, fixtures, resources, documentation, ranges, nomenclatures, and timing.
- Support the production launch of investments for Manufacturing and Watchmaking.
- Manage, prioritize, and optimize departmental tasks and anticipate organizational change needs.
- Detect potential dysfunctions and take immediate corrective actions.
- Ensure upward and downward transmission of important information.
- Supervise the smooth running of methods and industrialization activities to meet objectives.
- Promote brand values and explain company directions, progress, indicators, and projects.
- Coach, manage, monitor, and evaluate team members to ensure quality work and achievement of objectives.
- Delegate tasks considering competencies and availability.
- Develop versatility and maintain the department matrix.
- Contribute to a healthy and stimulating work environment, ensuring internal equity and conflict management.
- Encourage creativity and teamwork.
- Enforce internal rules and health and safety regulations.
- Participate in and advance cross-functional projects related to the industrial roadmap.
- Coordinate and lead project progress tracking and report to decision-making bodies.
- Propose optimizations for processes and equipment.
- Conduct technology watch to enable the development of new processes.
- Technical or Engineering degree in mechanics or micromechanics or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in an industrialization specialist role.
- Proven experience in team management.
- Knowledge of machining and finishing techniques for watch components.
- Fluency in French; proficiency in English and Italian is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to create a climate of kindness, listening, and empathy.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Pragmatic, rigorous, and organized with a high sense of responsibility.
- Decision-making ability and proactive approach.
A minimum of 10 years in an industrialization specialist role, with successful team management experience.
Technical or Engineering degree in mechanics or micromechanics or equivalent qualification.
