LVMH Accounting Intern

LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics, a division of the esteemed LVMH Group, is a leader in the luxury sector, encompassing a portfolio of over 75 prestigious brands. This division includes iconic names such as Christian Dior, Guerlain, Givenchy, Kenzo, and Benefit, each representing a unique blend of quality, craftsmanship, and luxury. The BeNeLux branch of LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics is dedicated to ensuring the brand's vision is realized within the Benelux markets, maintaining the distinct character of each brand.

1. Process and record supplier invoices, both with and without purchase order references.
2. Assist in managing the shared mailbox, processing supplier invoices, and reconciling supplier statements.
3. Follow up on the approval of purchase invoices.
4. Manage the creation and modification of supplier records in the system according to group procedures.
5. Forward and archive accounting documents for the Luxembourg company, managed by an external accountant.
6. Record bank statements and manage customer open items by reconciling payments to unpaid invoices.
7. Assist in managing the shared mailbox and send reminder emails to customers.
8. Reconcile cash register reports and credit card payments with Boutique’s sales reports.
9. Update follow-up files for project tracking, databases, group reporting, and audit purposes.
10. Assist in the preparation of audit files, including preparing confirmation letters for clients, suppliers, and banks, and downloading data from SAP.
11. Scan and archive documents on the shared network drive.

1. Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

1. Understanding of accounting principles and ability to analyze financial information.
2. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
3. Proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
4. Proactive attitude with a genuine desire to learn about accounting processes and the luxury goods industry.

Beginner level experience in accounting or a related field is required.

Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
