LVMH seeks a Talent Development Manager - Next Gen in Shanghai (Jing'an District) to lead campus and early-career talent strategy across China.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end Next Gen talent strategy across China: attraction, engagement, development and career progression.
  • Design and run career development programs, talent communities and high-potential pipelines to prepare future leaders.
  • Identify and nurture high-potential employees through career conversations, calibration and targeted development plans.
  • Lead implementation and local alignment of the LVMH Group Retail Management Trainee (MT) Programme: curriculum, rotations, mentorship and evaluation.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with universities and campus networks to attract top early-career talent.
  • Plan and execute omni-channel campus initiatives (online livestreams, on-campus events and talks) in collaboration with Maisons and Corporate Communications.
  • Create compelling digital content for university audiences and coordinate content delivery with Corporate Communications.
  • Contribute to broader talent management processes, including succession planning, internal mobility and HR-for-HR initiatives.
  • Measure program effectiveness using data-driven metrics and stakeholder feedback; manage timelines and deliver regular reports to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in talent development, campus recruitment, employer branding or related HR function; experience in luxury retail or multinational consumer businesses is strongly preferred.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English; proficiency in French is an advantage.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across multiple brands.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience producing digital content for talent attraction.

Experience

Approximately 5+ years of progressive experience in talent development, early-career programs, campus recruitment or employer branding. Prior exposure to luxury retail, consumer brands or multinational matrix environments is highly desirable, with demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects and stakeholder engagements.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related discipline; Master’s preferred.
