General Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager

1. Lead the General Ledger team and oversee monthly closing processes for international entities.
2. Ensure cohesive and efficient financial operations in collaboration with Accounts Payable and Budget Controlling & Reporting teams.
3. Mentor, train, and develop the General Ledger team.
4. Implement and maintain continuous assessment of financial close processes and internal controls.
5. Manage month-end closing processes, ensuring data completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
6. Prepare and review annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with local GAAP standards.
7. Act as the primary contact for external financial audits.
8. Ensure proper bookings, balances, and reconciliations of bank accounts.
9. Manage third-party customer accounts and maintain accurate accounting for VAT.
10. Coordinate and ensure proper filing of tax and statutory returns with tax advisors.
11. Develop and maintain accounting and reporting procedures to comply with Internal Control System requirements.

1. University degree in Economics, Federal Certificate (Brevet fédéral), or equivalent studies.
2. 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is a plus.

1. Strong knowledge of accounting principles (local GAAP and IFRS).
2. Proficiency in SAP and Excel.
3. Familiarity with Power BI is an advantage.
4. Leadership skills to guide an accounting team.
5. Exceptional communication skills.
6. Results-oriented with a rigorous, methodical approach to data analysis.
7. Fluency in French and English; knowledge of Italian is a plus.

Minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
