Richemont General Ledger Accountant

1. Adhere to Richemont's accounting policies, processes, and standard operating procedures.
2. Ensure compliance with local laws and regulatory requirements, including ZATCA, SAMA, and MOC.
3. Accurately and promptly book accounting entries in line with accounting standards.
4. Provide precise monthly reconciliations for transitory accounts, corporate cards, and procurement cards.
5. Reconcile bank accounts to ensure data accuracy.
6. Maintain and apply Internal Control System (ICS) controls.
7. Post and reconcile intercompany transactions.
8. Review and reconcile goods in transit.
9. Process period-end adjustments, such as accruals and currency conversions.
10. Maintain organized records and conduct analysis.
11. Clarify financial performance and accounting requirements to FP&A and Finance operations.
12. Manage communications with stakeholders, including boutiques, internal/external audits, and ZATCA.
13. Review payment runs and ensure application of ICS controls.
14. Respond to Accounts Payable inquiries.
15. Support local entity cash forecasting.
16. Optimize and manage cash for working capital needs.
17. Manage and control credit card issuance and usage.
18. Maintain banking relationships and address queries.
19. Review, calculate, and submit tax filings, including VAT and WHT.
20. Handle government Sadad payments and reconcile balances.
21. Deliver operational tax support to Maisons.
22. Manage tourist refund-related issues.
23. Provide tax advice to the business and liaise with tax authorities and advisors.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is highly preferable.
2. 0-1 years of experience in accounting and finance.
3. Internship experience in the retail industry is advantageous.
4. Knowledge of accounting department processes.

1. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including MS Teams and SharePoint.
