Richemont General Ledger Accountant

- Adhere to Richemont's accounting policies, processes, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulatory requirements, including ZATCA, SAMA, and MOC.
- Accurately and promptly book accounting entries in line with accounting standards.
- Provide precise monthly reconciliations for transitory accounts, corporate cards, and procurement cards.
- Reconcile bank accounts to ensure data accuracy.
- Maintain and apply Internal Control System (ICS) controls.
- Post and reconcile intercompany transactions.
- Review and reconcile goods in transit.
- Process period-end adjustments, such as accruals and currency conversions.
- Maintain organized records and conduct analysis.
- Clarify financial performance and accounting requirements to FP&A and Finance operations.
- Manage communications with stakeholders, including boutiques, internal/external audits, and ZATCA.
- Review payment runs and ensure application of ICS controls.
- Respond to Accounts Payable inquiries.
- Support local entity cash forecasting.
- Optimize and manage cash for working capital needs.
- Manage and control credit card issuance and usage.
- Maintain banking relationships and address queries.
- Review, calculate, and submit tax filings, including VAT and WHT.
- Handle government Sadad payments and reconcile balances.
- Deliver operational tax support to Maisons.
- Manage tourist refund-related issues.
- Provide tax advice to the business and liaise with tax authorities and advisors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is highly preferable.
- 0-1 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Internship experience in the retail industry is advantageous.
- Knowledge of accounting department processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including MS Teams and SharePoint.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
- Presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with multiple stakeholders.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced and changing environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proactive with strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Compliance mindset.
- High degree of credibility and integrity.
0-1 years of experience in accounting and finance, with an internship in the retail industry considered advantageous.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is highly preferable.
