1. Undertake a recognised Swiss CFC apprenticeship in jewellery-making under the supervision of master jewellers.
2. Learn and practise bench skills: sawing, filing, soldering, forming, polishing and finishing of precious metals.
3. Train in stone‑setting techniques, assembly, micro‑soldering and quality control to meet haute‑joaillerie standards.
4. Interpret technical drawings and production specifications; prepare and maintain workpieces and tooling.
5. Maintain workshop order and follow strict safety, cleanliness and jewellery‑handling protocols.
6. Participate in restoration and repair operations as skills progress; document work according to atelier procedures.

1. Completion of compulsory schooling or equivalent; eligibility to enrol in a Swiss CFC apprenticeship programme.
2. Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail and patience for fine, repetitive work.
3. Demonstrable interest in jewellery, metalwork or related crafts; practical hobby experience is advantageous.
4. Reliable, punctual and committed to a multi‑year vocational training pathway.
5. Basic numeracy and the ability to read simple technical drawings; willingness to learn workplace French is recommended.

Completed compulsory education; eligible for enrolment in a Swiss CFC (certificate of federal vocational education and training) apprenticeship programme.
