- Assist in seasonal buying by defining assortments by cluster, market, sales channels, and Point-Of-Sales (POS) levels, ensuring a balance between inventory and sales performance while considering clientele needs.
- Manage execution by supporting and liaising with the regional merchandising manager and supply chain team regarding allocation and supply chain-related topics.
- Support the regional merchandising manager and training team for seasonal training or any product-related training needs in stores.
- Drive sell-through of new products by taking quality actions with constant review and follow-up.
- Provide proactive follow-up and communication on new launches to all sales channels' teams.
- Consolidate market feedback to communicate to headquarters and act as a point of contact between HQ and local teams.
- Collect market intelligence, including competitors’ best sellers and trend surveys.
- Provide merchandising reports.
- Assist in setting up opening stocks following the merchandising strategy and buying decisions made in the showroom.
- Monitor the performance of new and carryover items and assist in taking action by liaising with the supply chain team.
- Support and assist all ongoing and future projects related to merchandising.
- Degree or above in Merchandising, Business, or related discipline
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Power Pivot, PowerPoint, Power BI, Anaplan
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese (Mandarin is a plus)
- Independent and proactive
At least 3 years of merchandising experience, preferably in the retail industry. Knowledge in supply chain is advantageous. Exposure to SAP system is beneficial.
Degree or above in Merchandising, Business, or related discipline
