- Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans and rosters for the Southeast Asia region.
- Leverage merchandising, agency knowledge, and A&P marketing skills to enhance product and project outcomes.
- Conduct market benchmarking, attend industry conferences, and manage a KPI dashboard to optimize performance.
- Foster strong relationships with the MH and LVMH purchasing communities.
- Ensure compliance throughout the purchasing process, including launching RFQs and negotiating with suppliers.
- Manage project schedules and goals with exceptional project management skills.
- Organize business reviews and supplier evaluations with brands and agencies.
- Oversee contract management, supplier negotiations, and track key contract expiration dates.
- Focus on marketing, supply chain, IT, and general expense projects.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of market categories, industry trends, and key players.
- Address quality or delay issues with agencies, suppliers, and brand contacts.
- Regularly meet with stakeholders to align on budgets, projects, and brand objectives.
- Promote innovation and lead category-related initiatives and transversal projects.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing functions with a strong focus on marketing.
- Experience with event agencies and retail environments.
- Proven ability to collaborate with global and international teams.
- Proficiency in SAP.
- Experience in Southeast Asia or regional roles is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-oriented approach.
- Proactive and autonomous self-starter with initiative-taking capabilities.
- Strong team player with influencing skills.
- Excellent analytical and database management skills.
