Moët Hennessy General Ledger Accountant

- Manage and execute General Ledger activities for assigned countries, ensuring service delivery aligns with agreed KPIs and SLAs.
- Provide timely and accurate financial and analytical reports to the General Ledger Manager.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders and internal customers, including country Financial Directors, FP&A teams, internal control teams, and external auditors.
- Serve as the primary contact for country-related finance RCoE matters, with a comprehensive understanding of AR and AP activities.
- Prepare and post journal entries, conduct balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and manage period close activities and statutory reporting.
- Ensure regular review and timely closing of accounts monthly, identifying unusual transactions and account balance movements.
- Identify areas of concern within reconciliations, develop corrective action plans, and ensure accounts are in good standing.
- Prepare appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, ensuring compliance with internal controls and GL practices per group policies.
- Participate actively in digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives, including defining requirements, change impact assessment, and user acceptance testing.
- Qualified accountant with relevant Finance and Accounting experience in complex, multicultural business environments.
- Experience in SAP ECC/B1/Hana, Salesforce, and RPA preferred.
- Participation in system implementation or automation projects, including requirement gathering, change impact assessment, or user acceptance testing.
- Strong General Ledger experience.
- Prior industry experience in Wine & Spirits, FMCG, Consumer, or Luxury Goods advantageous.
- Proficiency in Korean language.
- Ability to resolve conflicts and propose resolution plans within the team.
- Strong commercial and data-driven mindset with strategic planning capabilities.
- Expertise in managing and analyzing financial data.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
