- Define the strategic vision for the category within the brand and oversee key decisions to ensure sustainable growth.
- Contribute to collection development, guide Go to Market activation, and coordinate between Collection Merchandising, regional teams, and management.
- Develop and lead the merchandising team, ensuring global offer coherence in an international context.
- Define purchasing strategy and category vision in collaboration with the director, balancing business stability and permanent offer renewal.
- Oversee collection inputs such as editing, sizing, launches, and innovations.
- Optimize offer strategy according to long-term objectives and brand positioning.
- Ensure overall performance in terms of revenue, sell-through, profitability, and desirability.
- Establish a roadmap of key priorities and strategic decisions in coordination with Business Planning and Supply.
- Anticipate structural risks and define global action plans.
- Represent category vision to regions and management, ensuring alignment between brand strategy and regional purchases.
- Manage, develop, and coach the retail merchandising team.
- Align plans with Collection Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Supply, and regional teams.
- Lead major cross-functional projects and transform processes, acting as a cross-functional business leader.
- Degree from a business school or equivalent higher education institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail or regional merchandising, with in-depth knowledge of luxury fashion clients.
- Strong affinity for luxury markets and products, particularly in high-end segments such as watches, jewelry, and couture.
- Open-mindedness and curiosity with a good understanding of diverse cultures and markets.
- Results and customer-oriented with the ability to interact with various stakeholders.
- Excellent proficiency in English and a strong command of French is highly desirable.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the luxury fashion industry.
Degree from a business school or equivalent higher education institution.
