- Optimize and oversee the efficient flow of goods from Distribution Centers to points of sale and clients.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure seamless transportation processes.
- Address and resolve transportation-related issues for stores and digital teams.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions through data-driven analysis and process improvement initiatives.
- Manage relationships with store and digital teams, providing relevant and reliable information such as delivery lead times and order follow-ups.
- Provide immediate support regarding shipments via email and phone.
- Relay requests to appropriate departments such as Distribution Center, Sales Admin, and Supply Chain.
- Manage daily and weekly performance of transportation vendors and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee small parcel activities, ensuring continuity, proper traceability, and reporting.
- Deploy short-term and day-to-day activities to ensure efficient response to logistics strategy.
- Coordinate with the Distribution Center and vendors to ensure end-to-end monitoring.
- Address discrepancy reports and collaborate with the warehouse on missing parcels or parcel issues.
- Work with vendors to define action plans for process, method, and tool improvements.
- Collaborate with logistics and finance departments to simplify invoicing payments, cost savings, and reconciliation processes.
- Liaise with IS&T and Distribution Centers to ensure proper report triggering and propose improvements.
- Encourage the implementation of environmentally conscious alternatives.
- Propose transportation strategies, including alternative modes, shipping partners, and risk assessments.
- Analyze existing processes to reduce costs or improve service levels.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Logistics, Transportation Management, or Supply Chain operations, preferably within the retail or luxury goods industry.
- Elevated and sophisticated communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Vendor management expertise, particularly with small parcel vendors.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel; experience with Power Query and Power BI is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in French is a plus.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of seasoned experience in logistics, transportation management, or supply chain operations, preferably within the retail or luxury goods industry.
Annual salary range of USD $110,000 - $120,000.
