- Lead the development of leather materials in collaboration with suppliers, ensuring alignment with project objectives such as style, quality, cost, and timelines.
- Provide expertise to creative teams to ensure the industrial feasibility of initial prototypes.
- Develop and formalize industrial specifications for suppliers and assist in the selection of supplier panels.
- Oversee the industrialization of leather collections in collaboration with suppliers, validating design and manufacturing processes.
- Approve leathers through laboratory testing, process validation, audits, and appearance criteria.
- Ensure leather assembly in collaboration with the finished product manufacturing site.
- Propose optimizations throughout the industrialization process to enhance and simplify material design.
- Manage innovation projects related to materials, including design, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Bachelor's degree equivalent to Bac+5 in engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in development and industrialization roles.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative abilities.
- Proficiency in French and English; Italian is a plus.
- Rigorous, organized, and autonomous work ethic.
- Ability to understand market and product dynamics.
- Effective decision-making and analytical skills.
At least 8 years of experience in development and industrialization within the luxury fashion industry.
Bachelor's degree equivalent to Bac+5 in engineering or related field.
