Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, produce and manage show window concepts and the five-times-per-year rotation cycle for existing stores, including ad hoc windows for pop-up projects.
  • Coordinate procurement and assembly of local window sub‑kits in accordance with central creative kits and global instructions.
  • Plan, design and deliver pop‑up stores, limited events and pop‑in activations — including site selection, layout, vendor and contractor coordination to ensure on‑time setup.
  • Lead store installation logistics and oversee delivery of display materials, scenic elements and product merchandising for openings and events.
  • Ensure exemplary customer experience at pop‑ups and temporary spaces by aligning visual presentation with brand standards and commercial objectives.
  • Report visual merchandising activity to the Central VM team and New York Image Studio (window reports, VM activity, store opening documentation, product VM reports).
  • Support regional zoning plans, product rotations and communicate visual directions with Merchandising Directors on a biweekly cadence.
  • Collaborate closely with National Sales, Store Project, Retail Support, Store Managers, Merchandising, Marketing/Advertising and Central VMD/Architect teams; manage external suppliers including construction and production companies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Design, Fine Arts or related field preferred.
  • Strong artistic sensibility with acute attention to detail and high aesthetic standards.
  • Proven competency in project management, time management and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to implement HQ directives locally and liaise with cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Business‑level proficiency in English and Japanese.
  • Portfolio submission required as part of the application process.

Experience
