Responsibilities
- Manage the development schedule of exotic leathers in coordination with product development timelines, acting as an interface between designers and tanners.
- Formalize specifications related to exotic leathers and ensure compliance by tanners, including sample reception and laboratory testing organization.
- Perform placements and cost estimations for new models in collaboration with design and production sites.
- Codify new materials.
- Manage master tools and templates, ensuring follow-up and replenishment as needed.
- Develop privileged contacts with exotic leather tanners, design and quality teams, purchasing and supply teams, and project managers.
- Collaborate directly with exotic leather goods manufacturing teams.
- Possible travel within France and internationally.
Qualifications
- Final year student in an engineering school specializing in leather or on a gap year.
Skills
- Excellent proficiency in office tools (Office Suite).
- Comfortable with numerical data processing.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Autonomous and detail-oriented.
- Fluent in English; Italian is a plus.
