- Process and record all accounts payable transactions with proper account coding, authorization, and payment terms.
- Perform timely intercompany confirmations.
- Review and approve purchasing channels to ensure correctness.
- Reconcile travel expenses monthly with the general ledger.
- Prepare monthly accruals in CONCUR.
- Oversee data management and reporting, including cardholder listings and account status.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and record journal entries.
- Provide audit documentation as requested.
- Prevent losses from fraud or bad debt through effective process management.
- Manage and reconcile the P-Card process, ensuring accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies for travel and expense reports.
- Execute store creations in SAP with precision.
- Verify and confirm vendor setup through proper channels.
- Terminate accounts timely, addressing outstanding balances and delinquencies.
- Respond to vendor and employee invoice inquiries.
- Assist in month-end closing and audits for accurate financial reporting.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and systems improvement.
- Collaborate as a business partner with stores and corporate partners.
- Perform additional duties as requested by management.
- 2-3 years of prior accounts payable or accounting experience within retail or multinational companies.
- Detail-oriented with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to convey information effectively through verbal, written, and presentation formats.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, SAP, and Concur.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Minimum of 3 years in accounts payable or accounting roles, preferably within retail or multinational companies.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Hourly rate of USD $28-30/hr.
