Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and procure merchandising references from marketing briefs to product delivery, ensuring alignment with Guerlain's purchasing policies and LVMH group strategy.
  • Participate in briefs, analyze merchandising requests, and propose materials and finishes for visual merchandising and chainstore projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies for new projects in collaboration with merchandising and suppliers.
  • Launch tenders, analyze quotes, and propose technical solutions integrating 'Design to Value' and eco-design principles.
  • Manage the entire procurement process including needs analysis, sourcing, tender management, negotiations, and supplier evaluation.
  • Maintain active relationships with strategic partners, ensuring regular performance reviews and fostering innovative collaborations.
  • Oversee supplier audits to ensure compliance with Guerlain's quality, ethical, and environmental standards.
  • Manage technical development of pieces, validate plans, and oversee production launches.
  • Monitor project timelines and ensure adherence to delivery schedules.
  • Anticipate risks and manage alerts with the project team.
  • Ensure contract execution, adherence to pricing conditions, and intervene in case of disputes while managing the budget.

Qualifications

  • Technical degree at Bac+5 level, such as an engineering school.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in purchasing/development of point-of-sale displays (PLV).
  • Proven negotiation skills and experience in supplier relationship management and project development.

Skills

Fluency in French and English. Strong computer skills. Interest in using Artificial Intelligence for optimizing procurement and development processes. Dynamic, reactive, and adaptable with strong analytical and synthesis capabilities. Excellent interpersonal skills.

Experience

A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in purchasing and development within the merchandising sector, including internships and apprenticeships.

Education

Technical degree at Bac+5 level, such as an engineering school.
