Guerlain in Orphin, France seeks a Maintenance Technician (CDI, 2x8 shift) for its perfume production site.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure continuous availability and reliability of production equipment, respecting site KPIs and safety standards.
- Diagnose and execute corrective maintenance on production installations, including adjustments, upgrades and replacement of defective components.
- Plan and perform preventive maintenance activities and update preventive maintenance procedures in coordination with the methods team.
- Analyze equipment indicators for assigned assets; prioritise actions, propose sustainable improvements and deliver continuous‑improvement projects in safety, quality and productivity.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and machine maintenance dossiers; write detailed intervention reports.
- Audit machine parameters within the perimeter (outside active production settings) and participate in commissioning of new equipment.
- Coordinate external suppliers and act as primary technical contact for supplier interventions.
- Coach and train line operators and machinists on autonomous maintenance and fault analysis using diagnostic tools.
Qualifications
- BTS MAI, BTS Electrotechnics, BTS Maintenance Industrielle or equivalent technical diploma.
- Minimum 3 years of proven maintenance experience on a production site, preferably in cosmetics, food or pharmaceutical environments.
- Autonomy, rigor and strong analytical aptitude with demonstrated root‑cause analysis capability.
- Effective communication skills and experience working as a technical interlocutor with suppliers and production teams.
- Willingness to work on a 2x8 shift schedule.

Experience
Minimum 3 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a production environment; experience in cosmetics, agro‑food or pharmaceutical manufacture is highly desirable. The role demands familiarity with varied production processes and regular coordination with external suppliers.
Education
BTS MAI, BTS Electrotechnique or BTS Maintenance Industrielle (or equivalent technical diploma).

The successful candidate will be located in Orphin, Île-de-France, France, with easy access to Paris.
