Guerlain Formula Industrialization Manager

1. Lead, animate and develop a team of three specialists (Formulation Industrialization & Cleaning technicians), fostering autonomy and skills growth.
2. Manage end‑to‑end industrialization of new skincare and B2B formulas (lotions, creams, milks, serums, shower gels), from marketing brief analysis to industrial launch while ensuring safety, quality, cost and timing objectives.
3. Conduct industrial feasibility studies for each new formula, including risk evaluations and estimation of factory cost price (CCR).
4. Anticipate, identify and mitigate technical, scheduling, cost and safety risks; define and implement corrective action plans and escalate alerts when necessary.
5. Define and coordinate scale‑up strategies to ensure smooth transitions and robust processes at production scale.
6. Implement and optimise Nettoyage en Place (NEP) procedures with a focus on water reduction and compliance with quality and safety standards.
7. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the emulsion workshop, propose performance solutions and contribute to investment projects.
8. Maintain active technological and scientific watch to propose disruptive process innovations that strengthen competitiveness.

1. Minimum 5 years' proven experience in formula industrialization or an equivalent role, preferably within chemical, cosmetics, pharmaceutical or food industries.
2. Engineering degree (generalist engineer or with a strong chemistry orientation) or equivalent technical qualification.
3. Demonstrated leadership and ability to set vision, mobilise teams and achieve collective objectives.
4. Rigorous, methodical and an excellent communicator capable of cross‑functional collaboration.
5. Proficiency in English.
