Fashion Group HR Generalist

- Facilitate the implementation and execution of key HR programs including onboarding, organizational effectiveness, performance management, engagement, retention, and compensation.
- Resolve employee relations issues in collaboration with senior HR business partners, business leaders, and legal counsel.
- Act as the initial point of contact for employee groups, assessing needs and managing special projects.
- Collaborate with specialized HR functions to maximize the impact of HR initiatives.
- Manage performance improvement plans and involuntary terminations with senior HR business partners.
- Support administrative tasks such as file maintenance, HRIS updates, and organizational chart management.
- Explain company policies and procedures to corporate and retail employees.
- Support talent management and development by assessing and evaluating talent needs and executing action plans.
- Facilitate succession planning and internal mobility initiatives.
- Support workforce retention and engagement programs, including recognition processes.
- Participate in internal resource groups and support related events and initiatives.
- Collect and analyze employee data to measure the effectiveness of talent strategies.
- Recommend process improvements based on data insights and analytics.
- Assist with end-of-year and mid-year review initiatives.
- Track and analyze turnover data.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Experience in retail or luxury/fashion business preferred.
- Familiarity with HR processes, systems, tools, and programs (UltiPro experience is a plus).
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize workload with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Self-starter with the ability to thrive in an autonomous environment.
- Strong planning and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
A minimum of 2-3 years of related experience in Human Resources, with a preference for candidates with retail or luxury/fashion industry experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
The compensation for this position ranges from $75,000 to $95,000 annually, depending on the candidate's relevant skills and experience.
