Fashion Group HR Generalist

- Facilitate the implementation and execution of key HR programs and processes, including onboarding, performance management, and compensation.
- Resolve employee relations issues in collaboration with senior HR business partners, business leaders, and legal counsel.
- Act as the initial point of contact for employee groups, assessing needs and managing special projects.
- Collaborate with specialized HR functions to maximize the impact of HR initiatives.
- Manage performance improvement plans and involuntary terminations, partnering with legal on employee relations escalation.
- Support administrative tasks such as file maintenance and HRIS updates.
- Explain company policies and procedures to corporate and retail employees.
- Consult internally to support talent assessment and evaluation, assisting with action planning.
- Facilitate the creation and maintenance of succession plan data, including insights and gap analysis.
- Support the development and maintenance of internal programs focused on workforce retention and engagement.
- Assist with recognition program coordination and participate in internal resource groups.
- Collect and analyze employee data, preparing reports to measure the effectiveness of talent strategies.
- Review and recommend process improvements based on analytics and data insights.
- Assist with end-of-year reviews and track turnover data.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 2-3 years of related experience in Human Resources.
- Retail experience preferred.
- Experience in the luxury or fashion business is a plus.
- Familiarity with HR processes, systems, tools, and programs (experience with UltiPro is a plus).
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize workload with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Self-starter with the ability to thrive in an autonomous environment.
- Planning and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-dimensional environment.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with a preference for candidates who have worked in retail or the luxury fashion industry.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
The compensation for this position ranges from $75,000 to $95,000 annually, dependent upon the candidate's relevant skills and experience.
