Fashion Group Retail & Omni-Channel Technology Director

- Serve as primary technology partner to retail executives, understanding business needs and making technology decisions accordingly.
- Act as a thought partner to remove friction for store associates, from printers to custom digital apps.
- Advocate for regional needs with HQ teams in Europe concerning user experience and functionalities.
- Establish strategic relationships with key vendors to scale and improve retail technology services.
- Define and drive the regional store technology and services roadmaps with regional Maisons and their HQ teams.
- Develop and implement regional long-term strategy to harmonize and consolidate technology services across the Maisons.
- Lead discovery and execution of retail & omni-channel projects/programs with project managers.
- Ensure on-time, on-scope, and on-budget regional implementation of major retail projects and programs.
- Prevent disruption in stores by ensuring quality and stability of technology deliverables for new or updated solutions, services, and equipment.
- Improve performance and lead day-to-day Level 2 retail applications support services and its teams.
- Shift retail support activities from HQ to the region to improve incident response time.
- Partner with Service Delivery Leader to continuously improve overall support to stores at Level 1.
- Redefine the operating model of retail support to provide consistent and effective resolution of incidents and service requests on retail & omni-channel applications.
- Lead feasibility and scope assessment with regional payment, tax, financial, inventory, operations, and logistical team members for major omni-channel solutions.
- Partner with HQ teams and local architects on the technical designs of omni-channel solutions to ensure the best experience in the region.
- Support retail expansion into new markets by opening stores internationally.
- Partner with Store Planning and Infrastructure teams to support opening of new doors, events, pop-ups, and temp stores.
- Onboard additional Maisons into the Fashion Group Americas retail technology ecosystem and services as needed.
- Experience in a multi-brand environment
- 10+ years of experience in the retail industry, preferably in the luxury or contemporary sector.
- 10+ years of IT experience, leading IT teams and vendors.
- 10+ years of hands-on technical experience with point-of-sales solutions (Cegid Y2), back-of-house solutions, and omni-channel digital solutions
- Stellar presentation and communications skills.
- Strong program and project management skills.
- Technical expertise with Cegid Y2 point-of-sale systems

Minimum 10 years of experience in the retail industry, with a focus on luxury or contemporary sectors, and IT leadership.
The compensation for this position ranges from $165,000 - $195,000 annually, dependent upon the candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
