Director of Retail & Omni-Channel Technology

- Serve as the primary technology partner to retail executives, understanding business needs and making technology decisions.
- Act as a thought partner to remove friction for store associates.
- Advocate for regional needs with HQ teams in Europe.
- Establish strategic relationships with key vendors to improve retail technology services.
- Define and drive regional store technology and services roadmaps.
- Develop and implement a long-term strategy to harmonize technology services across Maisons.
- Lead discovery and execution of retail & omni-channel projects/programs.
- Ensure on-time, on-scope, and on-budget implementation of major retail projects.
- Prevent disruption in stores by ensuring quality and stability of technology deliverables.
- Improve performance and lead Level 2 retail applications support services.
- Shift retail support activities from HQ to the region to improve incident response time.
- Redefine the operating model of retail support for consistent resolution of incidents.
- Lead feasibility and scope assessment for major omni-channel solutions.
- Partner with HQ teams on technical designs of omni-channel solutions.
- Support retail expansion into new markets by opening stores internationally.
- Onboard additional Maisons into the retail technology ecosystem as needed.
- Experience in a multi-brand environment
- 10+ years of experience in the retail industry, preferably in the luxury or contemporary sector
- 10+ years of IT experience, leading IT teams and vendors
- 10+ years of hands-on technical experience with point-of-sales solutions (Cegid Y2), back-of-house solutions, and omni-channel digital solutions
- Stellar presentation and communication skills
- Strong program and project management skills
- Language skills: French (major plus), Spanish or Italian (plus)
- Familiarity with Avalara, Adyen, UKG Dimension, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Salesforce SOM, OneStock, UPS WorldShip
Minimum 10 years of experience in the retail industry, with a focus on IT leadership and technical expertise in point-of-sales and omni-channel solutions.
The compensation for this position ranges from $165,000 - $195,000 annually, depending on the candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
