Celine Merchandising Manager, Leather Goods

- Develop and oversee the seasonal merchandising plan and assortment strategy for leather goods to maximize opportunities in the North American retail network.
- Prepare comprehensive sales reports by activity, line, color, and boutique to inform purchasing decisions.
- Propose purchasing plans based on retail core offers and sales history, considering activity, line, mix, value, quantity, number of references, and depth.
- Complete the order process by SKU, ensuring data entry and order completion according to the buying schedule.
- Conduct daily and weekly sales analysis, preparing business commentary and identifying growth opportunities.
- Participate in sales planning, forecasting, and open-to-buy (OTB) processes alongside Business Planning.
- Manage consolidations and replenishments to optimize Sale-to-Stock levels across boutiques, in collaboration with Supply Chain.
- Communicate with Central partners on trends and market opportunities.
- Ensure proper visual merchandising displays in alignment with sales trends and guidelines.
- Collaborate with stores to understand market needs, manage client requests, and monitor sales expectations.
- Work with Training and CRM Teams to implement promotional activities and participate in seasonal training sessions.
- Partner with the Digital Team to enhance category visibility and online sales.
- Analyze competitor offerings and pricing, making strategic recommendations.
- Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in fashion or luxury buying, with a preference for accessories experience.
- Strong communication, motivational, and feedback skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Market awareness and understanding of the competitive landscape.
- High proficiency in computer skills, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently, both nationally and internationally.
- Expertise in fashion and luxury buying, particularly in accessories.
- Proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Market analysis and strategic planning skills.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the fashion or luxury sector, specifically in buying roles.
The annual salary ranges from $100,000 to $130,000, dependent on the candidate's skills and experience.
