Bottega Veneta Senior Project Manager, Architecture

- Lead project execution by coordinating HQ design activities, regional approvals, and liaising with Kering’s providers and regional stakeholders.
- Manage external project management partners and consultants, oversee international procurement, and ensure project completion within time and budget constraints.
- Influence HQ activities to achieve project goals.
- Establish and maintain relationships to meet design timelines in high-pressure environments.
- Conduct independent site visits during construction phases and manage on-site vendors and consultants for weekly progress reviews.
- Review construction documents and millwork shop drawings for accuracy and compliance with brand standards.
- Analyze vendor proposals with the regional Store Planning Vice President to minimize project costs.
- Maintain Master Cost Plan and Reports, and make commercial decisions in consultation with Store Planning Vice President and Finance stakeholders.
- Prepare for and attend finance meetings, reporting on capital expenditure needs.
- Prioritize multiple projects of varying scope and ensure timely completion.
- Provide reporting to HQ and maintain project databases, adhering to departmental standards.
- Minimum 6-8 years of work experience, with at least 5 years in project/construction management, preferably in luxury retail and wholesale store development in major U.S. markets.
- Proven ability to manage and delegate external project managers, architects, contractors, and international vendors.
- Strong commercial acumen and knowledge of cost metrics for the Americas region.
- Excellent negotiation skills with strong written and verbal communication.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to departmental procedures and standards.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Aptitude for reading architectural construction documents and understanding basic architectural language.
- Highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining professionalism.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project), Adobe Acrobat, and AutoCAD.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (20%-30% anticipated travel).
Minimum 6-8 years of work experience, with at least 5 years in project/construction management, preferably in luxury retail and wholesale store development in major U.S. markets.
Annual base salary range of $140,000 - $150,000, plus discretionary bonus.
