Bottega Veneta Retail Training Manager

- Support the training development of the Retail and Wholesale network in collaboration with the Retail Training Director.
- Ensure brand image is upheld, delivering exceptional client experiences and surpassing sales targets.
- Coordinate and deliver training and coaching for the retail network in respective markets.
- Ensure comprehensive understanding of company heritage and product knowledge within the retail network to achieve Service Excellence.
- Initiate and support the development of training plans to enhance luxury selling skills and drive conversion.
- Develop training plans for business initiatives such as product launches and strategies.
- Produce or oversee the creation of instructional materials and manuals following global and local guidelines.
- Collaborate with the global training department to ensure consistency while adapting to local cultural differences.
- Monitor and coordinate store inductions for newly hired retail employees.
- Organize and deliver classroom immersion programs for new hires within 90 days of employment.
- Deliver specialist and expert training for advanced retail employees.
- Organize the annual training calendar for the Americas region in line with global guidelines.
- Partner with the Retail Training Director and global counterparts to prepare teaching plans and build annual training programs.
- Travel across the Americas region to ensure consistent training delivery.
- Adapt to different participant understanding levels by evaluating strengths and weaknesses.
- Address challenging situations with a positive and solution-oriented approach.
- Assess training effectiveness and evaluate ongoing programs for local specificity.
- Support the mystery shopping process with result follow-up and service evaluations.
- Monitor the usage of company-provided e-learning tools.
- Stay updated on new trends and tools in employee development and competitor activities.
- Ensure training operations align with budgetary constraints.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management or retail training role within the luxury retail industry or a training consultancy firm.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Office and Windows, and knowledge of learning management software.
- Strong understanding of adult learning and blended learning preferred.
- Understanding of retail business acumen and clienteling KPIs.
- In-depth knowledge of luxury retail, client experience, and selling skills.
- Knowledge of competitors and general fashion industry knowledge.
- Excellent coaching skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to plan yearly training and multitask.
- Ability to communicate effectively, adapt, and demonstrate excellent product knowledge and brand philosophy.
- Familiarity with talent management and succession planning preferred.

At least 3 years of experience in a management or retail training role within the luxury retail industry or a training consultancy firm is required.
Annual base salary range of $110,000 - $115,000, plus discretionary bonus.
