- Develop and execute strategic business plans to expand the Women's Handbags and Fine Jewelry sectors, focusing on MTO, Special Orders, and high-end business development.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to refine business strategies.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal clients and act as the primary contact for high-end, MTO, and Special Orders products.
- Manage high-end model stock, ensuring visual merchandising aligns with boutique needs and client expectations.
- Lead initiatives to achieve and exceed sales targets for high-end, MTO, and Special Orders.
- Partner with retail teams to set specific sales targets and develop action plans.
- Create selling reports and historical recaps to communicate business performance.
- Collaborate with PR for high-end product loans for events and develop seasonal sales plans.
- Coordinate with Milan to develop dedicated collections and ensure high-end product availability.
- Develop tailored assortments for US high-end events and manage special orders to meet deadlines.
- Partner with various departments to create unique client experiences and ensure accuracy in high-end proformas.
- Train and inspire sales teams on high-end products and support client advisors during events.
- Develop and execute high-end trunk shows and manage client special orders processes.
- Communicate product needs and sales trends with the Central Buying team to optimize collection developments.
- Minimum of 4 years of merchandising or buying experience in the luxury sector.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 3-4 weeks per quarter.
- Strong organizational awareness and adaptability in a team environment.
- In-depth knowledge of the luxury market and brand philosophy.
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
- Fundamental understanding of supply chain processes, including planning and inventory management.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and retail math.
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Relationship-building and collaboration.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented with a sense of urgency.
- Proficiency in retail math and computer skills.
A minimum of 4 years in merchandising or buying within the luxury fashion industry is required.
Base salary of $85,000 - $90,000, plus discretionary bonus.
