1. Lead the design, build, and implementation of cloud and infrastructure solutions, enhancing existing systems and introducing new ones.
2. Define and document the architecture of end-to-end cloud/infrastructure solutions, supporting applications across various platforms.
3. Reverse engineer and document architectural designs for enterprise systems, both multi-cloud and on-premises.
4. Design PaaS and IaaS solutions for enterprise applications on public cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP.
5. Guide teams and vendors in selecting appropriate cloud architectures and services globally.
6. Define cloud services strategies for migration projects, ensuring cost-effective and resilient solutions.
7. Design cloud technology portfolio standards for enterprise applications, including cloud services features and capabilities.
8. Partner with various teams to assess and modernize current application and technology architectures.
9. Evaluate cloud service requirements for projects, ensuring security, performance, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.
10. Educate stakeholders and engineering teams on effective cloud solutions and best practices.
11. Perform capacity planning and forecasting for IT infrastructure, implementing optimization strategies.
12. Demonstrate expertise in FinOps principles, focusing on capacity planning, budget management, and cost optimization.
13. Build technology roadmaps for cloud services and lead the implementation of multi-cloud platforms.
14. Define and design development and operational methodologies for projects, including DevOps and DevSecOps.
15. Lead and participate in technology groups and committees, such as the Architecture Review Board.
16. Evaluate applications for cloud fit and manage implementation activities for public cloud transitions.
17. Continuously learn about new cloud technologies and recommend adoptions for enterprise initiatives.

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
2. 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, GCP, and Alibaba
3. 10+ years of experience in architect roles, designing and implementing distributed systems
4. 5+ years of experience in architecture leadership roles
5. 10+ years of experience in application design and implementation
6. Experience in providing FinOps cost-effectiveness
7. Demonstrated experience in cloud modernization and resilient, scalable cloud solutions
8. Extensive experience with cloud technologies such as AKS, Azure DevOps, and Azure services
9. Strong knowledge of DevOps technologies and processes
10. In-depth technical skills for cloud services suggestions and implementations
11. Experience building security reference architecture for cloud deployments
12. Strong communication skills for strategic recommendations
13. Knowledge in cloud disaster recovery planning and testing
14. Knowledge of middleware technologies and microservices architecture

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms and 10 years in architect roles.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Master’s degree preferred.

The hiring range for this position is $158,000 to $214,000, depending on skills and experience.
