Michael Kors seeks a Sales Supervisor in Charlotte, NC (SouthPark Mall) to lead sales, clienteling and store operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive personal and store sales performance by meeting individual and store sales goals and maximizing conversion through elevated levels of service and product knowledge.
  • Coach, train and develop sales associates in selling techniques, clienteling and register operations to optimize team performance.
  • Manage client relationships: build and maintain repeat clientele via client books, resolve complaints promptly and ensure post-sale follow-up (shipping, alterations, and special requests).
  • Oversee daily store operations including cash controls, register functions, stock management, shipping and receiving procedures, and participation in inventories.
  • Support risk management and physical security protocols to protect merchandise and cash assets.
  • Implement and maintain merchandising and visual directives to ensure the selling floor is organized, stocked and reflects the brand image.
  • Enforce professional image and attendance standards and support follow-up for training programmes and HR initiatives.
  • When applicable, perform offsite driving duties to transport product between locations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of specialty retail experience.
  • Proven supervisory or lead experience in a retail environment; luxury or premium brand experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated coaching and people-development ability with a track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Strong customer service and complaint-resolution skills; clienteling experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with cash handling, register management and inventory control procedures.
  • Professional grooming and image consistent with the brand; ability to adhere to schedule and attendance policies.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record when offsite driving responsibilities apply.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends and peak shopping periods.

Experience
