- Lead and develop the IT Operations team, establishing clear objectives, workload prioritization and sustainable performance practices.
- Ensure stable, secure and reliable operations of Manufacturing Execution Systems (ISA-95 Level 3) and Level 2 equipment-integration systems in a production-critical environment.
- Define, implement and enforce IT Operations governance, including incident, problem and change management processes and KPIs.
- Act as the operational IT counterpart to Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality for MES, shopfloor IT and equipment integration topics.
- Plan, coordinate and deliver multiple concurrent operational IT projects (e.g., MES, RMS, CMMS, APS) with prioritization, capacity planning and risk control using PMI and Agile practices.
- Define and maintain clear responsibilities and interfaces across ISA-95 layers (L2/L3/L4) and between MES, automation and business systems.
- Review and challenge technical and architectural solutions in close collaboration with the IT Architect to control technical debt and ensure scalability.
- Manage and monitor external partners and system integrators, ensuring SLA compliance, service quality and cost control.
- Centralize and structure operational communication and change requests; identify and mitigate operational and delivery risks while driving continuous improvement to reduce incidents and downtime.
- Proven leadership capability with experience coaching and developing IT operations staff in a technical, production environment.
- Deep working knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and ISA-95 concepts, and hands‑on experience with shopfloor equipment integration.
- Strong project delivery expertise using PMI and Agile methodologies; ability to prioritise, manage capacity and control risk across multiple initiatives.
- Experience managing third‑party integrators and vendor relationships, including SLA and contract oversight.
- Solid understanding of IT governance disciplines: incident, problem and change management.
- Technical judgement to review software, interface and infrastructure design in partnership with IT architecture stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Automation or related field; Master’s or relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP) preferred.
- Fluent English; French language skills advantageous given the location.

Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in operational IT within a manufacturing or production‑critical environment, including hands‑on MES and equipment integration work, team leadership and delivery of multiple concurrent projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Automation or a related technical discipline; Master’s degree or PMP/other project management certification preferred.
