Tiffany & Co. Payments Strategy Analyst

1. Verify daily that all credit card transactions processed through Point-of-Sale and order entry systems were transmitted and settled by third‑party processors; research and resolve transmission and settlement discrepancies.
2. Reconcile and post incoming cash receipts and checks (including third‑party credit cards, customer wires, lockbox remittances and international trade receipts) promptly and accurately to appropriate accounts.
3. Complete assigned journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and miscellaneous billings to support monthly, quarterly and year‑end financial closes.
4. Prepare and maintain monthly reporting and analyses of credit card fees, card fee accruals and allocations, and sales mix analysis to support financial review schedules and DSO reporting.
5. Investigate and resolve out‑of‑balance conditions, Pin Debit/private‑label card issues and customer service inquiries using judgment to determine corrective action.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a closely related discipline.
2. Minimum 3 years of job‑related experience in accounts receivable, payments or finance operations (2–4 years typical).
3. Demonstrated ability to prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations and support period‑end closes.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teams and third‑party processors.
5. Capacity to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines and work a flexible schedule during monthly and year‑end closes.
