Tiffany & Co. Payments Strategy Analyst

- Verify daily that all credit card transactions processed through Point-of-Sale and order entry systems were transmitted and settled by third‑party processors; research and resolve transmission and settlement discrepancies.
- Reconcile and post incoming cash receipts and checks (including third‑party credit cards, customer wires, lockbox remittances and international trade receipts) promptly and accurately to appropriate accounts.
- Complete assigned journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and miscellaneous billings to support monthly, quarterly and year‑end financial closes.
- Prepare and maintain monthly reporting and analyses of credit card fees, card fee accruals and allocations, and sales mix analysis to support financial review schedules and DSO reporting.
- Investigate and resolve out‑of‑balance conditions, Pin Debit/private‑label card issues and customer service inquiries using judgment to determine corrective action.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of job‑related experience in accounts receivable, payments or finance operations (2–4 years typical).
- Demonstrated ability to prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations and support period‑end closes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teams and third‑party processors.
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines and work a flexible schedule during monthly and year‑end closes.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable, payments operations, or finance shared‑services supporting reconciliation, cash posting and period‑end activities.
