- Oversee a team of craftspeople providing repair and alteration services for Tiffany merchandise.
- Ensure the team meets established performance goals and manage individual performance.
- Support Tiffany stores and enhance the client experience through effective execution of repair and alteration orders.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing consultation on product, repair tooling, equipment, technical abilities, and shop safety.
- Leverage existing talent to comply with labor budget and set clear performance goals.
- Foster an inclusive culture that values diversity and cultivates a strong sense of team.
- Develop management knowledge and capability through hiring, engagement, coaching, and development.
- Plan and forecast department needs, considering historical trends.
- Understand business financials to provide strategic departmental guidance.
- Support small- and large-scale projects that align with business strategy and growth.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 3 years' experience in operations management or a similar leadership role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong client orientation focused on excellence in the client journey
- Excellent organizational abilities to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Financial competence and ability to understand expense statements
- Ability to inspire trust, fairness, integrity, and professionalism with staff members
- High ability to collaborate, build strong business relations and influence without direct authority
- Flexible work schedule and ability to work overtime as needed, including possible weekends
- Effective communication with different levels of management
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Project management and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Problem-solving and resolution identification
- Ability to translate company and department goals into actionable plans
Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a technical or luxury retail environment.
Bachelor’s degree
The hiring range for this position is $111,000 - $157,000, with eligibility for a management bonus.
