1. Oversee day-to-day accounting functions for US and Canadian entities, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial records.
2. Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures in compliance with LVMH requirements.
3. Lead a team of six accountants, providing guidance and training in intercompany, payroll, and general accounting functions.
4. Develop and implement global intercompany reconciliation procedures and conduct training sessions for international teams.
5. Ensure daily reconciliation of intercompany sales and resolve discrepancies in monthly intercompany matching reports.
6. Supervise payroll accounting processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
7. Evaluate benefit rates and provide variance analysis to the FP&A team.
8. Oversee general accounting processes, including journal entries for prepaids, accruals, and cash, and ensure accurate revenue recognition.
9. Collaborate with America's Finance team on sales return reserves and performance evaluation.
10. Foster team development through goal setting, performance measurement, and technical guidance.
11. Participate in departmental and company-wide projects and initiatives.

1. Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting
2. 8+ years of experience in public and/or private accounting
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and IFRS
4. Excellent communication and analytical skills
5. Strong organizational and time management skills
6. Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
8. High level of integrity and professionalism
9. Proficiency in Excel and strong PC skills
10. Willingness to work flexible hours during closings and special assignments
11. Ability to interface with all levels of management and external auditors

Minimum of 10 years in accounting, with a preference for experience in retail and financial systems such as JD Edwards and Hyperion Financial Management.
