- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions for US and Canadian entities, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures in compliance with LVMH requirements.
- Lead a team of six accountants, providing guidance and training in intercompany, payroll, and general accounting functions.
- Develop and implement global intercompany reconciliation procedures and conduct training sessions for international teams.
- Ensure daily reconciliation of intercompany sales and resolve discrepancies in monthly intercompany matching reports.
- Supervise payroll accounting processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Evaluate benefit rates and provide variance analysis to the FP&A team.
- Oversee general accounting processes, including journal entries for prepaids, accruals, and cash, and ensure accurate revenue recognition.
- Collaborate with America's Finance team on sales return reserves and performance evaluation.
- Foster team development through goal setting, performance measurement, and technical guidance.
- Participate in departmental and company-wide projects and initiatives.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting
- 8+ years of experience in public and/or private accounting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and IFRS
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Proficiency in Excel and strong PC skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours during closings and special assignments
- Ability to interface with all levels of management and external auditors

Minimum of 10 years in accounting, with a preference for experience in retail and financial systems such as JD Edwards and Hyperion Financial Management.
