- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain standard industry benchmarking metrics to analyze the health of the supply chain and logistics partner performance.
- Analyze shipment and brokerage data to improve lead times and minimize costs.
- Provide guidance on item classification, claims, and expediting shipments.
- Partner with internal teams and suppliers to educate on compliance topics and operational efficiencies.
- Generate and maintain standard operating procedures for efficient work processes.
- Establish clearance procedures and document retention with customs brokers.
- Execute audits of customs entries and import/export documentation.
- Assess and mitigate risks related to international trade activities.
- Identify efficiency opportunities and support special projects related to trade and logistics.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of practical experience in trade compliance or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of import/export regulations.
- Experience conducting audits and assessing compliance risks.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Positive attitude and personable demeanor.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Hands-on self-starter with fast turnaround capabilities.
- Proactive and collaborative approach.
Minimum 5 years of experience in trade compliance or logistics functions.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
The hiring range for this position is $77,010 - $104,190, dependent upon relevant skills and experience.
