- Lead monthly profit and loss analysis and reporting to senior management.
- Prepare and monitor various expense reports, coordinating with all departments to ensure expense status is tracked and assistance is provided where necessary.
- Capture key performance indicators and analyze trends over time, performing in-depth analysis to understand underlying drivers and providing insight and commentary on trends.
- Perform return analysis on various project proposals, monitor investment performance, and provide recommendations.
- Support the preparation of the annual budget and coordinate the planning process across departments.
- Be the primary owner of expense accounts and support the capital planning process.
- Coordinate and provide rolling forecasts throughout the year as needed.
- Support the creation of documentation and presentations for senior leadership.
- Assist with ad-hoc requests from other departments in Japan and Corporate.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in English and Japanese communication, both written and verbal (TOEIC 850 or above; JLPT N2 or N1).
- Advanced level of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Self-starter with excellent coordination skills.
- Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule during monthly and year-end closings.
- University degree.
- Experience with Hyperion, Business Objects, and JDE software.
- Experience in budget processes.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis.
University degree required.
